During poor food years, bears are more likely to come closer to homes in search of food. With the permission of the Colorado Dept. of Wildlife, we are reproducing some of their literature on how to cope with these animals. A 15 minute DVD titled Becoming "Bear Aware" has also been given to the Guffey Library for your viewing.
